HONEST REVIEW CLAIMS ADJUSTER ROLE - Claims Adjuster Progressive Insurance Employee Review

Pros

The people you work with! All of the coworkers I had were wonderful and were always willing to lend a helping hand. The starting salary is also competitive with decent benefits.

Cons

The workload is unmanageable. The turnover rate is extremely high and everyone is constantly stressed out. You are given an exuberant amount of work that is near impossible to complete in a 40-hour work week. Because of this you often have to come in to make up work on your time off or end up working well over 8 hours per day. This is a salary position so if you ask management about overtime pay they tell you it is not possible.

Pros

One day a week in the office. No weekends. Work from home 4 days. New hires do have to be in office 2 days for first year then go to 1 day a week. Benefits are good. Everyone is awesome. Really only had one supervisor who was a little on the micro managing side but they were new to it. Other than that VP don down the line to adjuster are all super nice and approachable

Cons

It’s a stress full job. I love it but it’s not for everyone. You have to be on your A game every day or you will get behind
