Terrible place to work - Sales Progressive Insurance Employee Review

Pros

The benefits are great, and the company tries to be as inclusive as possible.

Cons

You do not get paid nearly enough for the torture you get put through. Training isn’t bad and makes it seem a lot better than it is. But the minute you’re out of training you get thrown to the wolves. Customers are nasty and it takes an enormous toll on your mental health. If you are not constantly on a call or getting sales you are constantly judged by your coaches for why you’re not doing good enough.

Pros

Great supervisor, and great coworkers. Training was good and I left training fully able to do my job with confidence. Sometimes we have fun meetings to attend. Can work in office when we want which is nice on days I want to get out of the house since I work remotely.

Cons

Low pay for work load and responsibilities. Extra responsibilities don’t equal extra pay. Very micromanaged and timed per task which can be stressful if a task takes longer than it should due to circumstances outside of your control. Low raises even with high performance rating.
