Pros
Good mission - used to be a category-defining company. Good work-life balance.
Cons
Extremely low employee morale due to incompetent and egotistical leadership. Mediocrity is the norm in hiring. Senior leadership values hiring “yes men” that come from WebMD. Rampant nepotism - interns (and new hires) are often friends and family of the c-suite. Many people in leadership roles are all style, no substance. A completely unserious place to work with no accountability. Many people are happy to coast. Below average market pay. Executives lack strategy, vision, and have been taking the company in a bad direction with numerous new products that sound shiny but are shoddily built (and pale in comparison yet are more expensive for employers than most other options on the market). Commercial drives all product work and decisions. Processes are consistently changed and rarely stuck to across departments. High turnover amongst the most intelligent / technical employees due to lack of investment from the organization and lack of career advancement opportunities (that is, unless you’re one of a few chosen favorites of the CEO).
