Pros

They have a medical, dental & vision plan. It isn't great, there is still a lot of out of pocket expenses, but at least it's something.

Cons

Low Skilled Management. They either have very little management experience before they get here, or they have none at all. They are a detriment to the workflow process. They do not adhere to their own mission statement principles because they are not held to the same standard as employees, and favoritism is what keeps the inefficient employees around and gets the hard working ones fired. Working hours are terrible, and there is no consistency with hours of operation, this clinic closes early a lot. There is a high turn around with both administrative and medical staff due to low morale, excessive management favoritism, unfair firings and unreasonable working hours. There is no trust among employees and the low skilled management team loves to fire people based on gossip. The training at any PMG clinic is subpar to say the least and don't expect any support once you have completed your training. This is a very toxic clinic to work in. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

Pros

(This is for Providence St Vincent Medical Center in PDX) - staffing ratios - break nurses - ONA union - coworkers on my unit are very helpful and kind (can’t speak for every unit though)

Cons

- upper management hates the nursing union - we are short on many supplies on weekend night shifts - crappy insurance - my unit’s manager is almost never there, they’re always on vacation or working remote. This makes our manager very out of touch with the unit’s needs
