Pros

Some residents, some of the employees are nice

Cons

Nursing home residents in an assisted living community, no where near enough staffing for a shift, stressful and difficult work. Some of the residents are extremely difficult and don’t belong there. Emotionally, mentally and physically draining. 12 hour shifts beat you down. Also, they pay aides $10 an hour when they bring in actual CNAs through another company and pay them $13.50 when they are short handed. How is it fair to pay your employees so low and other people from outside companies so high to do the same exact work????

Pros

The residents, care staff and activity staff are what make Providence at Collegeville Shine.

Cons

The leadership is very cliquey. The Executive Director does not really know what is going on in the building. She is very snarky and unprofessional with staff, residents and their families. Covers up what really is going on by giving corporate a false impression. Nursing management is awful with no accountability. State is always in the building due to residents not being on the appropriate level of care. Some of the Housekeeping staff just do whatever they want. The company is more concerned about heads in beds than on resident care needs.
