Pros

Hours are good, 930-530 and good work life balance depending on group you're in.

Cons

No real perks, benefits are below par, no bonuses, maternity leave is basically non existant if you haven't been with the firm for 10 years. They don't even pay you for jury duty unless you've been with them for a while. They nitpick every minute you work, meaning don't even try showing up 10 minutes late. Even though it's salary, you need to make up every minute. They even charge for every phone call. I had a conversation with an attorney I worked with while he was out of office and received an actual bill for the 40 cents "long distance" phone call, granted you just tell billing what the call was but it's ridiculous that that is the policy. Also, it looks like associates are dropping like flies, every week at least 2 associated quit.
