Lack of training and staff support, there is no formal training and no one is interested in how you're growing professionally. Coaching conversations occur after you do something they do not agree with. There are no conversations about long or short term goals. Management and partners are bombarded with work and don’t see training or staff support as a priority.
The accounting services department is understaffed, overworked and tasks are not reviewed. The tax and audit departments have high turnover rates due to lack of training and support. Audit is now an all male, rookie staff. Tax is constantly behind and workloads are extreme.
HR department ignores obvious issues and takes a passive approach when dealing with internal matters. Unprofessional behaviors are often tolerated.
