Loved working at pulse (#pulsepower). . Great team with lots of likeminded people, while I was there we hung out together also after work. You really learn a lot in a short amount of time.

Can get a bit hectic and unorganized at times but not more than at any other startup

You get see what type of company you don't want to work at.

They claim Pulse values, Pulse family, they claim they are fair and treat everyone equally. From the top down it's nothing but lies. It's the German way or no way. They claim creative freedom, the claim everyone has a voice. The only people who have a voice are the CEO's. They don't enable the managing directors to do their jobs and then OUT OF NOWHERE "close the NYC office" before the holidays. They terminated everyone, then secretly re-opened using the German team because "they could do a better job". They withheld bonuses that were due, canceled all insurance and withheld pay from half the staff. There's no transparency and the upper staff hide everything and there is zero communication. This is the epitome of a micro-management, non-transparent and toxic environment. They will promise you everything and the moment you make a mistake or feel you "don't deliver" they will show you the door. Do yourself a favor don't even accept the interview.
