Pros

- The job activities is typically as described. Heavy lifting (sometimes up to 30kg), a bit of walking around (especially at bigger hubs). Attention to detail and the ability to read labels fast, good memory and spatial co-ordination (especially when stacking boxes). - Anyone who's serious with a little common sense can master most of the tasks. - You get Good starting pay/benefits (compared to similar positions from competing companies) in a Unionised position and Lots of overtime opportunities, especially if you are experienced. Note that there are major Con's that make the union membership more of a pain that an advantage

Cons

- Company insists in maintaining and enforcing absurd and pointless so-called "Safer Workplaces Policy" among other already absurd rules. So, you won't be hired if you've not received the 1st 2 doses of the Covid19 mRNA vaccines (even though updated health guidelines no longer recommend it for current variants). This is openly and publicly known as has been reported and publicly complained about by other former employees and applicants. - I mentioned that it's unionised. However, the union practically has no benefit or purpose to the average worker. You'll spend more in dues and get nothing in benefits - The training isn't as good as it should be. Some training content doesn't match real work environment expectations, and temporary staff are used from time to time and they receive no training. - Warehouse environment have little to no temperature regulation (trailers are really cold in the winter and even worse, you could get a heatstroke in the summer seeing as the tasks are physically demanding). - Management is disorganised a lot of times. - Proper work ethics are never enforced, thus a hard/serious worker can be taken advantaged of (you may find yourself covering for lazier/unserious workers, especially if you're a male worker).

Pros

None. Literally nothing. It’s a joke of a company.

Cons

Zero training, accountability, support, diversity, planning, or management. You watch HR spew word vomit that they’re available to support you, but if you speak up to them or any management your job is threatened. HR, upper management, and other departments are allowed to bully people with no reprimand. There is constant retaliation against anyone that has a difference in opinion, even though HR will tell you “That’s not tolerated and shouldn’t happen!” Petty, cliquey, drama filled work place. Teams take turns choosing a target and tearing them down until they leave. The technology and project management of every single department, let alone company wide roll outs are ATROCIOUS! There’s no support from any department and they will badger and bully you to get what they want. Any extra work that they can’t place gets dropped to the lowest man on the totem pole with no incentive or pay increase and if they speak up, they are told “money doesn’t create happiness” They treat people like slave labor. You will be contacted outside of working hours with no compensation, they can’t plan travel with ample time and notice, but will expect you to drop your whole life to accommodate them. Onboarding and offboarding are a joke! There isn’t a single ounce of training, there’s a bunch of outdated links and videos, and you’re thrown in while basically being told “sink or swim” God forbid you ask for training, you’ll be forced to prove a business case for it. HR, upper management, departments that feel they’re superior are allowed to speak to employees like they’re the scum of the earth and bully them on a regular basis to get what they want, how they want it. It is full of people who talk out both sides of their mouths. They preach about wellness, DEI, women in logistics….. but the second any of that is used to support your position you will be torn apart, targeted and pushed out. There’s no room for growth, there’s no support for growth, this is a dead end company. Save yourself the headache and distress, work elsewhere. The picture they paint is a fallacy.
