Cons
My time at PBB was marked by poor management and a lack of structure. I was never given a clear outline of my responsibilities, which allowed leadership to assign arbitrary tasks without notice. There was no formal training structure or documentation to support new hires, and any training I did receive was minimal and ineffective. Communication was virtually nonexistent, and feedback or concerns were routinely ignored. Despite consistently raising issues about workload and work-life balance, more responsibilities were added without support or recognition.
The hybrid schedule I was hired under was abruptly changed to full on-site with no prior discussion or timeline for return, despite being described as a temporary change. The overall environment felt dismissive and unappreciative—especially when my hard work was acknowledged with only a 1% bonus and a generic performance review. Leadership often lacked the experience needed to guide or support the team effectively.
When I gave them a final opportunity to address the issues or risk losing me, they chose to remain silent. There were no conversations about why I was leaving or how things could be improved. I was ignored for the remainder of my time there and treated with complete disregard. It left me feeling incredibly unappreciated and disrespected, and confirmed that leaving was the right decision.
