Pros

Free cleaning supplies, 17 days PTO.

Cons

My time at PBB was marked by poor management and a lack of structure. I was never given a clear outline of my responsibilities, which allowed leadership to assign arbitrary tasks without notice. There was no formal training structure or documentation to support new hires, and any training I did receive was minimal and ineffective. Communication was virtually nonexistent, and feedback or concerns were routinely ignored. Despite consistently raising issues about workload and work-life balance, more responsibilities were added without support or recognition. The hybrid schedule I was hired under was abruptly changed to full on-site with no prior discussion or timeline for return, despite being described as a temporary change. The overall environment felt dismissive and unappreciative—especially when my hard work was acknowledged with only a 1% bonus and a generic performance review. Leadership often lacked the experience needed to guide or support the team effectively. When I gave them a final opportunity to address the issues or risk losing me, they chose to remain silent. There were no conversations about why I was leaving or how things could be improved. I was ignored for the remainder of my time there and treated with complete disregard. It left me feeling incredibly unappreciated and disrespected, and confirmed that leaving was the right decision.

Culture Challenges

Pros

PBB makes great products that really resonate with their customer base.

Cons

PBB faces a toxic work culture issue that stems from leadership. The environment is heavily influenced by a “clique” mentality, primarily driven by the Marketing and Channel Strategy teams. If you're not part of the inner circle, it's easy to become marginalized and feel like a persona non grata.
