Pros
- Good work/life balance is definitely achievable, at least where I was. - Working with great people who care about a quality product. - Moved from matrix style managers to direct report managers. - Lots of interesting problems to solve.
Cons
- Work culture has taken a big hit recently with various layoffs and lawsuits - Has grown into somewhat of a monolithic software company that moves slowly internally. Also, a lot of the internal tools and processes are outdated or unrefined. - The communication and collaboration between different teams is abysmal. - Benefits package getting worse every year.
