There are some very interesting projects and groups that are overall very smart and driven. These are usually in new areas with a lot happening in terms of development. Moving from one project to another is not very difficult but may require some timing.
Cons
A lot of differences between different departments, technologies, teams. Culture depends on the VP, sometimes long-term strategy not clear within the department.
