Pros

If you are considering joining this company, you are probably going to meet the smartest people you'd ever have a chance to work with. I really mean that ! The work environment is great, the colleagues are amazing. Think about it this way, Qualtrics is like a Family. There are plenty of team activities/nights out, drinks at the bar at the end of the week. Yes, there is a proper pub and you can get free draft beer, wine, etc... The office location is pretty central, it is Stephen's Green. So whether you live South, North, West of East you'll always find an easy way to commute to work. If you are considering joining Qualtrics, if you are at the beginning of your sales career and if you can afford working extremely hard for a relatively low pay, you should go for it. The reason being that Qualtrics is actually a great school. You'll work so hard and you'll learn so much so quickly that wherever you move afterwards, you gonna actually find it easy to sell.

Cons

Well, I'd like to say where to start... - The first thing to keep in mind is don't trust all the comments that are actually out there ! They are actually fake and written by management because the scores are getting low and candidates are not accepting offers...things saying that the company is great but because it is fast paced it is facing some issues, that's like criticizing yourself with compliments... - Not a global company: having offices in multiple locations doesn't make your company global or international...The guys in the US definitely need some diversity. The products and marketing is developed for the US and it is great. But it is a nightmare when you are penetrating European markets. The guys in the US think that they don't have to change anything in their product and whatever works in the US, will be working in Europe...A huge effort on localization has to be made. Not only on translation but also on practices! - If you are an experienced Sales Rep in Dublin and you have the choice of taking another offer, stay away from Qualtrics ! Less than 10% of the Sales Reps are hitting their Quota ! Unless you are an enterprise rep based out of London, you are most likely getting a patch of accounts that have never been touched before ! You'll need to go through every single one of these and source all the contacts...Enterprise Reps in the UK are getting all the good stuff and you are left with small companies in random parts of England that are not a good fit for the solution and won't end up paying for it because it is an enterprise solution anyway... - I wish there was a stronger synonym for unrealistic. This is what I would have used to describe the Quotas within Qualtrics ! Actually, it will probably take you 6-9 months before closing your first deal... - Compensation is very low compared to the industry average. They will obviously give you a good basic if you are experienced but don't expect to get your OTE before 2/3 years...This is pretty standard. The more experienced you are, the higher your salary is gonna be, but also the higher pressure you gonna feel. Because if you don't deliver quickly, you'll be pushed out... - Employees attrition: I guess a quick search on Linked In about all the people that left recently would give you a clear indication about that... - Training & coaching: one word, inexistant ! The new hires training is a mess and I rarely saw people coming out of this one and having all the resources to start selling. Coaching is almost inexistant, and managers spend their time micro-managing you instead of coaching you. Management: there are some exceptions, but 90% of the managers are external hires. You are basically being managed by someone who never sold the product before and can never guide you through the sales process nor help you overcome potential challenges you may be facing on a long and complex sales process. Some of them never even sold cloud-based solutions... They spend most of their day tracking how many cold calls you made, how many meetings you scheduled and how many opportunities you created. "Transparency": it is one of the company's pillars but it is just for the image. There is no transparency whatsoever and they are only communicating about stuff they want to communicate about...It is like a propaganda where the idea is to make employees think that everything is perfect, that Qualtrics is a life-time opportunity and that there is no company out there like Qualtrics.

Pros

Fantastic people work there and it's a good place to start your career. The workplace perks are decent, there are snacks and lunches provided at the office. There are also good accommodations for mental health, religious observances, and nursing mothers.

Cons

The company pivoted to "business need" as a reason for promo. Promotions are now seemingly few and far between despite higher level individuals leaving. Recent restructuring has left those still working at the company with less time to do actual client work and more time being spent documenting the work done. ELT doesn't seem to actually listen and instead performs listening theatre.
