Pros
Insanely amazing benefits, mentorship, and job security. Seriously this place is like working on a cruise line. We have free swag everything 3 months or so, amazing company events (concerts, etc.), free breakfast and lunch (amazing quality), and a beautiful campus complete with a massive private garden with a waterfall. Like it's insane. Also the job itself isn't particularly stressful or conceptually difficult.
Cons
The job is boring and a grind. They also make promises about promotion timelines that leadership is constantly trying to walk back. It makes sense that they want to keep people in the roles longer so I don't blame them, but it used to be average tenure would be about 1 year in this role up to about 4 months ago where now its expected to be around 1.5 years and then you get funneled into more customer facing roles - think client success and higher tier client support. It's not impossible to promote earlier - just extremely rare (1%) and you can leave COps but again a lot harder and you might have to wait longer. I'd say of the people that want to leave COps, about 1/3 actually end up leaving. Pay - Super low. But honestly this is offset with amazing healthcare and benefits so realistically with other jobs that pay closer to 60k, you're really only still getting around 50k after paying for all of the benefits that Qualtrics offers. Next role is 70k no matter where you go. So that's pretty great.
