Pros

There are some great people that work at Qudos Bank. However, and sadly, they are jumping ship due to the uncertainty of the proposed merger with Bank Australia. Leaving behind the bloated, so-called leaders, who parade around the halls acting like they know their work.

Cons

The leadership team is mostly playing Game of Thrones to secure their positions in the new merged entity with Bank Australia. There some executive leaders known for their aggressive behaviour towards staff and a blind eye is still turned b the highest echelons who have the authority to intervene yet, are gutless to do so. With so many regulatory changes impacting the banking sector, there is little appetite to ensure timely and proper implementation/compliance. Scour the market! Seriously! You'll find better and and better paying options. Let's not forget, this is the mutual that tried to build its own internal banking platform, squandered over AUD $21,000,000 before pulling the plug with nothing to show for, leaving its embattled then CEO to suddnely and unexpectedly step down. AUD $21,000,000 represents two years of net profit after tax for Qudos Bank... Go figure. Don't let them fool you that the culture is great. Depending where you land, you may have a narcissist leader who kisses up and kicks down!
