Pros

-The company promotes a healthy work-life balance, making it a great place for working parents. Many managers are understanding and allow flexibility, such as leaving early to pick up your kids. - Insurance coverage includes you, your spouse, and children. However, if you're single, the coverage is limited to yourself. -Manageable workload - Supportive colleagues and a reputable brand name contribute to a positive work environment. - The office setup is excellent, with ergonomic chairs and desks that support long hours of work comfortably.

Cons

- Career growth is limited and highly dependent on your reporting manager. In my case, I was unfortunate to have a manager who didn’t support development. My former colleague who based in the US also told me that he was just able to move from BD to ISR after 5 years+++. There were plans dedicated for sales team all over the globe to move from their current position, but we heard nothing about that ever since. - Employee voices are often unheard. Managers may dismiss input &assume team members lack knowledge. - Poor leadership. My manager was frequently distracted (on the phone watching tiktok live, games) and lacking in addressing team issues, often pushing responsibilities back onto the team instead of escalating or resolving them collaboratively. - As a vendor, we were rarely aligned with partners to generate leads. Instead, we were expected to cold-call/email outdated contacts, often receiving negative feedback - Mundane &repetitive tasks. As a BD rep, the role was limited to office work with no exposure to marketing events or direct interaction with partners, resellers, or end users. The work was said more administrative than strategic (this was told by our marketing team). -Recent KPI changes tied reps to revenue targets, which was a positive shift, but the working style remained unchanged. it is something I didn’t prefer. - When a teammate resigned, we were told we weren’t eligible to apply for the role, only to see someone hired with less relevant experience & qualifications, yet placed at a higher level. - the managers seem to treat his role as a pre-retirement plan (lacking the drive to lead/innovate) Final Thoughts: This company is a good fit if you're looking for stability, a good benefits package & manageable workload. However, if you're ambitious and seeking career growth, leadership support, or dynamic work, it may not be the right place, unless you're lucky with your manager.

Pros

I’ve had the opportunity to be part of this organization through multiple phases of growth, change, and transformation. Like many companies in the tech space, there have been challenges and periods of transition. What continues to stand out to me is the organization’s ability to adapt, evolve, and keep moving forward. There is a strong focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and finding better ways to work. Current leadership encourages employees to share ideas, embrace change, and help shape meaningful improvements. I’m especially excited about the growing focus on new technologies and AI, and how they’re being used to help teams work smarter, faster, and more effectively. One of the things I value most is the culture. Employees are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work, share different perspectives, and participate in programs such as Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that foster connection, belonging, and community. I’ve appreciated the organization’s continued investment in these programs and in creating an environment where employees feel supported, heard, and valued. One of the most rewarding parts of my experience has been watching people grow their careers over time, whether that’s taking on new opportunities, moving into leadership roles, or exploring entirely new paths within the organization. In my experience, those who are willing to learn, have a growth mindset, stay adaptable, and embrace new opportunities can build long and rewarding careers here. After nearly a decade with the organization, I still believe its greatest strength is its people, culture, and commitment to continuous growth and improvement. I remain grateful for the opportunities, experiences, and relationships that have made my career journey both rewarding and meaningful.

Cons

Like many organizations, periods of growth and transformation can create change and uncertainty. Success often requires adaptability, a willingness to learn, and an openness to evolving priorities.

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
