      Pros

      Working from home. Flexible schedule My manager was nice.

      Cons

      Send a lot of work offshore leaving American employees looking for work. Managers will give you busy work. Did utilize my expertise in certain areas. Only care about numbers. Offshore employees can produce quantity but not quality. They do not care as long as they are getting reimbursed. Appeared to dislike strong intelligent minority women. Delete their positions to get rid of them. You will get promoted if you know someone or brown nose. Extremely unorganized and does not honor their value of transparency. Changing the name and not making changes to upper management does not equal success. Does not value their hard working employees.

      No promotions, and the yearly pay increase is basically the inflation rate

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
