Pros

There aren't very many employers I can think of where a graduate out of college can easily build a relationship with the CEO, SVPs, VPs, and other wigs in the company. Accretive looks to hire the best of the best, and I am proud to say that I work with some of the smartest people in the industry. This company has had tremendous growth, and is still making the "nose-bleed" climb to being bigger and better.

Cons

The expectation of always hitting results can at times hinder a work-life balance. However it is up to the employee to take control of this balance.

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
