Pros

Exposure to enterprise-scale AI and GenAI initiatives. Genuine opportunity to work on 0-to-1 products within a large org. Strong brand recognition, and access to senior stakeholders across major lines of business.

Cons

Typical big-bank bureaucracy slows decision-making. Heavy internal stakeholder management often takes priority over building. Risk-averse culture can constrain the scope and speed of product work. Long approval cycles for new initiatives.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
