Pros

Feedback? Oh, you mean that generic email they copy-paste to everyone. Truly inspiring insight, Odd hours and Dates of interviews. Transparency is key… somewhere else. At RBC, you're left guessing what went wrong, what went right, or whether anyone even read your resume. Fast-paced environment! Especially when it comes to how quickly you go from “top candidate” to “we’ve decided to move in a different direction.” Diversity of experience guaranteed – every candidate gets a unique version of the same vague, robotic rejection. Truly values your time… as long as it’s unpaid, unacknowledged, and ends in radio silence. Career growth opportunities – if you're a magician who can figure out their process, culture, or communication style. Collaboration at its best – except when it comes to recruiting, where silence is the loudest message.

Cons

I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding my recent interview experience with RBC Corporate Banking. Unfortunately, it was disappointing and frustrating. Despite going through multiple rounds, I received no clear or constructive feedback. The communication felt generic and impersonal, raising concerns about how seriously candidates are evaluated. It gave the impression of a disorganized or perhaps disingenuous process, which is surprising from a company with RBC’s reputation. I invested significant time and effort in preparing for the interviews, and it’s discouraging to feel that the process lacked transparency and fairness. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending RBC to others as an employer. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve the experience for future candidates.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
