Easy to get help especially as a new employee Group setup means you are closely working with the other trades on all the projects. This was great as a new mech.e to get exposure to the other trades. Time flexibility. Working from home after a site visit is a big time saver. As long as you get the work done, coordinate appropriately, and don't blow the budget you have a LOT of time flexibility. Tight budgets are the norm in this industry. Sometimes means it feels like you're cranking jobs out. Would be nice to have a bit more training at the front end Starting salary is lower than other mechanical engineering jobs but increases quickly as you gain experience and licenses. Hopefully doesn't change too much under NV5

Pay is not too bad.

You are not valued as an employee or human being. You can give 1000% and on a whim you are let go for no reason. They treat their employees as "disposable" and it doesn't matter how loyal you are. Management is a joke with no training or experience. Bypass this loser of a company and go where you will be appreciated.
