Pros

1. Leadership that actually listens and invests in you. I feel genuinely supported by my manager and senior leadership. Feedback is real, actionable, and consistent — not performative. They recognize wins, encourage growth, and create space for honest conversations. 2. Autonomy + trust = you can actually do your job. RPM gives a lot of ownership to Marketing Managers and Senior Marketing Managers. You’re trusted to make decisions, lead strategy, and push ideas forward. Micromanagement is not the culture. 3. Collaborative culture with strong cross-department partnerships. Operations, digital, creative, and marketing work together openly. It’s easy to tap into other teams, get answers quickly, and build strong working relationships. You’re never operating in a silo. 4. High-performing, smart peers who make you better. My regional team is innovative, data-driven, funny, supportive, and incredibly hardworking. It’s a group of people who elevate each other, not compete with each other. 5. Tons of exposure to strategic work. Between new business pitches, rebrands, digital strategy, and cross-functional projects, the role is extremely dynamic. You’re not just executing tasks — you’re shaping strategy. 6. Clear opportunities to grow and expand your influence. RPM embraces people who show initiative. If you raise your hand, ask questions, and think critically, you’ll naturally get pulled into bigger projects. 7. A company that encourages curiosity, innovation, and pushing processes forward. RPM is still growing and evolving, which means there’s room to improve workflows, test new ideas, and build scalable solutions. Your ideas don’t get lost; they’re genuinely considered. 8. Flexible, human-centered culture. RPM feels like a large company with a boutique culture. People are approachable, accessible, and down-to-earth. Humor is welcomed, work/life balance is respected, and authenticity is encouraged. 9. Marketing actually matters here. Unlike many property management companies, RPM views marketing as a strategic partner — not a support ticket system. Marketing has influence, a seat at the table, and true integration with operations. 10. Recognition is real. Wins are celebrated. Performance is rewarded. And when you do exceptional work, it’s acknowledged by leadership, operators, and clients alike.

Cons

None I can think of.

Pros

The company is very big on promoting from within and actively encourages internal growth. There is a wealth of information available through the various courses they offer, which allows you to gain a significant amount of industry knowledge if you are self-motivated.

Cons

While the resources are there, the culture is very much "figure it out on your own." Leadership often points you toward the Knowledge Network rather than providing actual hands-on guidance or support. Additionally, there is a lack of transparency with clients; it often feels like you are "co-managing" rather than truly managing the asset because so much is withheld from the owners. It is also extremely difficult to move underperforming staff out, which creates a drag on the rest of the team.
