Supportive management, ability to work independently, team building, great clients

Not all employees are treated equally

-Opportunities to work directly with post-incarcerated people. -A well-rounded company that provides many services, housing-reentry-treatment-etc. -Semi-flexible work schedules. -My immediate upper management is extremely supportive in helping answer questions about my tasks, proofing paperwork, and makes me feel like a valued staff member. -Wearing many hats allows staff to gain vast experience & ability to do lots of things, not just the same thing every day.

-Often understaffed, covering shifts (however a great way to get OT!). -It's a nonprofit, wages aren't as high as more competitive corporations/ government agencies. -Again, it's a nonprofit, you wear many hats & do tasks that aren't always part of your designated job responsibilities. -Not much historical knowledge since a large wave of former employees all quit, so it often feels like building from the ground up. -Not much staff training to handle mental health issues in certain areas of the organization.
