I was hired during the COVID-19 pandemic and had a positive experience for the first two years of my four-year tenure. However, after several rounds of layoffs, the company culture shifted significantly. There were no 401k matching opportunities, and advancement options for long-tenured employees were limited. Management began hiring friends, overlooking experienced employees for growth opportunities. Additionally, poor leadership decisions, especially regarding software changes, and extreme favoritism in the customer experience department created a challenging work environment. Overall, leadership consistently failed to support and nurture a fair, equitable workplace.
