Pros

The company paid well and had strong bonuses

Cons

The owner has decided to basically massacre and fire over 75 employees all based on what a Consultant's recommendations were. Mind you, this consultant has no idea about the company, the valuable employees and is listening to the "bad seeds" of the company. The owner could care less about your tenure with the company or how dedicated you were. Then they lie about company re-structuring blah blah blah. Most of the employees left are all backstabbing hypocrites that will do anything to climb the corporate ladder and crush anyone in their way. The owner, George Schaeffer, continues to take advice from the same employees that bad mouth the company and are vindictive as well as have personal agendas with other employees. For being such a smart businessman he really has no clue what is going on behind the scenes at Rapid Response Team. The morale continues to be on the floor and the employees are dropping like flies. HORRIBLE WORKING ENVIRONMENT STARTING FROM THE OWNER AND TRICKLING DOWN TO THE TECHNICIANS. If you are still employed good luck. If seeking a job at this company....RUN THE OTHER WAY!

Pros

I’ve been with RRT for three years now, and the biggest plus for me is how supportive and approachable the leadership team is. You never feel like you're bothering anyone when you need help. The company gives you REAL opportunities to grow. I’ve learned so much as a Project Coordinator and continue to grow into my role. I've been in the industry for almost 15 years Total and continue to learn and expand every day. The work is fast paced but rewarding, especially when you know you’re helping homeowners during stressful emergencies. I genuinely enjoy the people I work with ! The teamwork and communication make even the busiest days manageable. Training is solid, and there’s always someone willing to explain something or step in if you’re unsure. The culture is positive, and management doesn’t hesitate to recognize or appreciate good work and that's very fulfilling ! I’ve personally had a great work life balance, and if something comes up, The team is understanding and everyone steps in as needed to get deadlines, and emergencies handled. You never feel alone here, there’s a real sense of “we’re in this together.” Overall, Rapid Response Team is a stable company where you’re valued, not just another employee number! I love my RRT Family and being apart of something greater!

Cons

It can get very fast paced during storm seasons, so some days are heavier than others. Because we work with homeowners and commercial clients dealing with stressful situations, You need to be patient and flexible , Not every day is easy, but that comes with the industry!! There is always a lot to continue learning. You just need to be an individual wanting to succeed and learn, absorb as much as you can! its never a dull moment!

Pros

Biweekly Pay, Insurance and Benefits. HR non responsive.

Cons

Upper Management shows favortism and takes care of employees that do not pull their weight. There are process and rules but not enforced the same for every employee.
