Pros

If you’re looking for a place where you don’t have to work (only as a Project Manager), this might be a great fit. Some talented individuals in the team, but they are often overlooked. You may learn to work under extreme pressure, which can help build resilience.

Cons

No Work-Life Balance: Expect extended hours, weekend work, and unrealistic deadlines due to poor project planning. Lack of Career Growth: No opportunities for financial or skill development. If you’re good at your job, they will keep you in the same position forever. High Turnover & Instability: Leadership changes every few months, replacing staff with their own picks, leading to zero consistency. Toxic Leadership: Managers do not advocate for their teams. Instead, they follow orders without question and engage in blame games rather than supporting employee development. Politics & Favoritism: Advancement is based on favoritism, not merit. If you challenge leadership or question decisions, you risk being fired. Racism & Discrimination: Employees from certain backgrounds, especially brown-skinned individuals, are often talked down to and undervalued. Project Management Dysfunction: PMs do not manage projects effectively. Instead, they offload their responsibilities onto developers and BAs, calling it “empowerment.” Unrealistic Timelines: Poor planning forces developers to work overtime and on weekends to meet impractical deadlines. Below-Market Salaries: Compensation is significantly lower than industry standards, making it hard to justify the stress.

Pros

Hard to find a positive side here when everything about the environment was toxic.

Cons

Leadership has no direction starting from the founder down. If you want to be a part of a chaotic environment where there is no processes or procedures or accountability, then this is your place. There are too many highly paid individuals who have inflated titles but haven't a clue how to make a business profitable. They claim they thrive in a positive environment, yet they treat staff like underdogs no matter how qualified they are at their job. The recently announced CEO who lacks plenty of qualifications is very much disconnected with those around her as she is too busy being delusional about her own accomplishments.
