Pros

Handful of people who are still trying to make the company proud by bringing to the table no one can. However these people are actively suppressed by deploying careful strategies by incapable people who who have now become leaders. These incapable people have formed alliances through which they have progressed by feeding rumours and through bad culture of complaining behind back rather than talking, and crafting strategies to show talented people in bad light.

Cons

Many. This space is too small to describe. Company has no real growth, no real people, and the handful talent which is left will soon leave due to this culture of suppression, rumors and lies. There is always a chance that some of the tormented employees will soon report the company to the regulators, so if you are trying to onboard this dangerous ship, either as an investor or employee avoid at all costs.

Pros

Fast growing business full of people who want to do the right thing for colleagues, customers and clients Plenty of scope to shape your role and the business Meritocratic - you’re encouraged to identify and own things that will make the business better. Light touch approach to getting the signoff required to make a real difference Warm, friendly and welcoming with very approachable management team

Cons

Scale up businesses aren’t for everyone- this isn’t a place, yet, where all of the internal processes are fully embedded. You have to think for yourself and deal with some shades of grey Fast paced environment with lots of simultaneous changes so you have to be prepared and able to roll your sleeves up and muck in - regardless of grade and tenure Won’t suit people who need or want to be told what to do, how and when

Pros

Remote working, left to do own thing. Work life balance ok

Cons

The culture here has gone downhill noticeably in the last 18 months. Management doesn’t listen to feedback from staff, even when concerns are raised repeatedly but needs to be through anonymous channels for fear of consequence. HR can’t be trusted and share information they shouldn’t. There’s a real sense that input from the team falls on deaf ears and leadership continue to be unapproachable. Favouritism is a significant issue, opportunities, recognition, and support seem to depend heavily on whether you’re part of an inner circle rather than on performance or merit. This creates an uneven playing field and has damaged morale across the wider team. The nepotism review is true and continues despite us being told anyone can apply for a job. Where exactly are these advertised? Example of favouritism is a ‘Head of’ who has delivered nothing since his tenure, all hat and no cattle! Blames everyone else for lack of delivery and leadership think he is brilliant whilst he uses others as a scapegoat. No morals and a leadership team so inexperienced they can’t see what is happening. Overall, a workplace that doesn’t value all its people equally, and where leadership seems disconnected from what’s actually happening on the ground.
