Pros
Unlimited holiday: fantastic perk and genuinely no questions asked. It’s just a shame that you absolutely need it as it’s such a negative environment, removing this perk would be really detrimental to staff. Fully remote with flexible hours, excellent for parents or medical appointments. Employee led initiatives around charity and community if you have the time to be a part of them.
Cons
The feedback culture needs a lot of work: any bad feedback is treated as staff being difficult, any good feedback gets rewarded, creating a culture of compliance rather than constructive, useful dialogue where staff interests are taken to heart. Constructive discussions are often shut down and responded to with defensive justifications for poor/unpopular decisions. Career growth is stunted for those who do not comply, promotions are given to people without the requisite skills, training or attitude. Their decision making is so diluted by there being too many stakeholders making decisions that they are rendered ineffective anyway leading to a lot of frustration in the teams. The website promotes a people first approach, the reality of working at Reddico feels more like a constant quest for profit first, this is especially difficult for staff who worked under the previous directors. Don’t be fooled by the lack of reviews in 2024: there was a huge turnover rate in 2024 due to staff unhappiness, disillusionment and burnout - all very talented staff who led due to disappointment in the business that they’d once enjoyed working for.
Pros
Not much to say really, interesting setup
Cons
Too many to list, always changing hands, never know who is in charge
