Pros

Great culture and work / life balance. Office is fantastic.

Cons

Please just do your research before making a decision. I was new to EdTech and learned they lay people off the second they have a financial downfall. I was recruited to Remind from a solid job at a Fortune 500 company, only to have my role eliminated 2.5 months later. It seemed so arbitrary that they would even hire me if they could not afford it? My time there was great, but the stress of the lay off was not worth any of it. On top of it, I was told I would get help looking for new positions in the industry, and I didn’t. I just truly want them to know how terrible it was, and hope they were at least, on a personal level, a little remorseful.

Thank you for the feedback. As a startup technology company, we test and try new processes. Especially in the sales department, we inflate and deflate as we learn the business cycles. Sometimes we fail at a potential business opportunity only to succeed in another area. With every hire and departure - it's on us to make sure we make better decisions in the future. We hope you have found a place where you can be successful and we are sorry it didn't work out here.
