Pros

Health Benefits, 401k match and PTO State-of-the-art software

Cons

Working at this company has been a deeply disappointing experience. The environment is rife with drama and negativity, creating a toxic, fear-based culture. Leadership employs a top-down approach, prioritizing popularity over merit, knowledge, and skills. Favoritism is prevalent among the C-suite, with promotions and significant raises awarded to a select few. The organization engages in heavy micromanagement, contributing to low morale. Employees are expected to take on additional workloads without compensation, and there is a noticeable lack of guidance, coaching, or clear career paths. Employee well-being and work-life balance are not priorities, leading to a stressful work environment. Expressing opinions or speaking up is discouraged, as it often results in termination. A VP once held a meeting where employees were told to keep their heads down and avoid being "toxic," which displayed a lack of empathy and care for the team. Harassment from upper management is a daily occurrence, and the HR team is aware but does not address it. Reporting such behavior often leads to being blacklisted and eventually fired. The company retaliates against any employee who goes against the CEO favorites. The company is extremely political, with poor communication and the frequent oversharing of confidential information. Some leaders even encourage competitive conflict among employees, hindering actual growth and collaboration. Overall, this company is not suitable for anyone seeking a supportive, balanced, and fair work environment. Avoid if you value your career and well-being.

Pros

Benefits. Sometimes get an extra day off for a holiday. The VP of Sales is knowledgeable and an exemplary team leader.

Cons

The environment at Revman has become notably toxic, primarily due to issues within upper management. Most of the VPs have been promoted without the necessary skills or experience for their current positions. Due to their lack of knowledge, they are unable to effectively lead and guide their teams. Much of their success is due to the expertise of their direct reports. Rumors are widespread, and management takes no action to address or mitigate them. The CEO and owners consistently take on new brands without developing a proper launch strategy, resulting in a significant increase in workload without corresponding increases in staff. There is often double or triple work, as strategies are not well thought out and constantly change. Management’s approach to these challenges is simply to demand completion of tasks without providing adequate support. Employees frequently work late into the night and on weekends to meet deadlines. When tasks remain incomplete, management instructs staff to increase their pace. The organization lacks work-life balance. There is currently no training or onboarding process in place. Employees are expected to start their roles without adequate preparation or support. There are no ongoing education opportunities or chances for cross-functional learning. Previously, Revman was a collaborative and supportive workplace. However, it has now devolved into an environment where employees feel isolated and unsupported, and advancement is limited to a select few who are favored by management.
