2yThanks for this. One thing we are definitely on the same page about… great teammates (and good people in general) at Workrise.
I know we made some changes in Q2, but I just want to clarify a few things… We are still supporting professional development, we simply changed the policy so that you must now get approval from your manager. We improved our 401k offering to provide funds that had better returns. We also sent out a survey and made sure we were aligning dollars with the benefits that employees valued the most… it was clear we were spending too much on things that employees didn’t value.
Regarding our RTO policy, and going to 3 days in the office. Culturally, I believe very strongly that this decision was a step in the right direction.
But the most important thing to clarify is around the new head of HR and our CFO. They are good people who are great at their jobs and they care deeply about the success of Workrise and its employees. They would never make changes to the employee experience without my approval. These were my decisions, and I made them because I believe they are the right decisions for the business.
I see you are a current employee. Reach out to me directly, or your manager…I am happy to talk through any of this.
