Pros

I've been working at Riot Games in multiple teams, during that time I've improved programming and teamwork aspects I wasn't even aware of. I feel that the talent around does match with any world class company like Google or Netflix.

Cons

The workload does average with similar positions in other industries, but you must account extra time to play games with the team and immerse in the company culture, so if you are not passionate videogames you might feel a bit excluded.

Pros

Passionate co-workers who are all hyper talented, amazing fringe benefits, work/life balance, dedicated managers to help you with your career, and passionate players to serve.

Cons

Egos are rewarded you have to be really good at self promotion, the company is so big that you can feel lost if you don't invest in networking often, layoffs happen at Riot now

Pros

Great benefits, pays well, can work on some very interesting problems.

Cons

Work hours are from 10-7 and hardly anyone actually works that, so stuff can move at a snail pace. Getting help from central teams can be painful, especially if they're way off hours. Some of the culture can get a bit overwhelming too and you can end up feeling pretty lonely if you don't drink the koolaid.
