Pros

Decent pay/ability to hit quota, amazing teammates and direct managers

Cons

Parker's first time getting to this point at any company, and the blind leading the blind is starting to feel like more frequent of a problem than not. If you care about upward mobility while also being able to be great at what you do, this isn't the place. Revolving door of senior leadership in product/eng up to the CTO, to the point where it's hard to feel like the caliber needed to really execute on the valuation will be willing to work here. We're at an inflection point where either executive leadership will exhibit a pivot from the small startup mentality to one that understands how to attract, retain and build top talent, or we'll stagnate and lose to the bigger companies that have already figured this out. For an HR-focused company to have extremely uncompetitive benefits, no budget for teams to bond outside of work, etc. and no career development/enablement opportunities beyond true SMB is a bit strange. Like most high growth companies, the job is grueling and requires long hours and there's very little to offset that. For high performers, it's unfortunately extremely easy to find better opportunities elsewhere.

Pros

I have only been at Rippling for a month at this point, but so far so good! The onboarding and training are top tier. Definitely the best and most in depth training I have gotten at a company. My manager is great and was also an IC at Rippling for a couple years before moving into management which I really like because they understand what it is like to be an account manager here. There seems to be a lot of opportunity for career growth here. I am definitely excited to be here!

Cons

Not really a con but you HAVE to be self sufficient here. People are willing to help but they are also very busy so it might be a while before you get a response to a question. It was an adjustment at first but I think it makes you a better employee. If you need hand holding probably not the job for you. I don't really have any true cons yet, but ask me again in 6 months lol.
