Pros

Again, the benefits here were awesome! Dental, medical, great! It's a growing business which is cool.

Cons

OMG these owners were ridiculous! They pushed their own political agenda and opinions even while telling you they weren't doing that. It was near impossible to schedule a day off, heaven forbid you have a doctor's appointment. And you couldn't take a Monday off. Why!? Also, the computer system they have, that was made in-house, is just bad. It isn't reliable. There are times where the account page will write over itself, so the account you're viewing suddenly has the same info but shows a different business name. That is just messy. Accounting Dept. also keeps customer's check and credit card information incorrectly and not in compliance with current consumer practices.

Pros

Veterinary compounding pharmacy that goes the extra mile! This company not only values and takes care of their customer but also their employees! The owners are very generous and treat us to lunches, treats, Christmas bonuses!!! And this is thanking us for doing our jobs, so amazing! Quality is also a huge importance here which I love and feel % confident in recommending to our customers and even for my own pet.

Cons

I honestly don't have any cons, but I will say you get what you put in. I do hear some people complain about this and that but I will say it is usually from the people that do the least that expect the most. I have been here for several years and have only experienced positives but I also work my butt off.

Pros

Working with pet owners to make sure their pets are healthy. I loved helping the customers!

Cons

The total inconsistency of the workplace. It was an incredibly stressful work environment where you got different answers from different supervisors, partial to no training on new procedures, new rules every day, employee favoritism, and lack of any empathy for serious life situations that might effect your performance beyond your control (and even if you tried to schedule days off for medical reasons or family issues, they usually refused all but the favorite employees). Yes, it's experience but at the cost of your health due to the stress. There really is very little in the way of caring about your employees from this company. Even something as simple as a pay raise is a problem. It's rare that raises are given on time, there is always some issue to hold up the yearly raise or a pay increase due to promotion. They are always hiring... which means they fire a lot of employees as well as a lot of people quitting. I was warned the first week while in training that there is a ton of favoritism, my trainer even told me she was looking for another job. That says so much about a company when those who train the new people want to leave...
