Pros
- Cool product with a great story as a company - Very smart employees - High retention, employees in tech roles are taken very well care of and generally seem to have more say-so at Roblox
Cons
- C-levels have overprocessed this company to death. Every day I felt like I received pushback from Director level and above (even as an an IC). Lower/middle management doesn't serve much purpose as the company follows processes dictated by the CEO, CTO, etc... Individuals (at least non-engineers) aren't given the opportunity to innovate and try new things as at the end of the day, their work is often rejected if it does not follow the established processes to the T. -Huge blame game. I know tons of smart people there that are great at their jobs, but are showing little results because of the boxes they are forced to work in. At end of quarter they then are blamed for low output and are told it's their fault, despite being hamstrung by senior leadership - AWFUL hiring bar (outright discriminatory practices pushed down by C-levels that the Talent team is forced to follow)
