Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Your feedback helps. We’re pleased with the progress we’ve made and are proud of our culture, but this is an ongoing, living process. We recognize there will always be room for improvement, because when you’re not afraid to fail, you push yourself further.
Our culture is an essential element that allows our organization to succeed globally, and we want our employees to feel inspired and engaged to do their best work. We want you to be empowered and to have the autonomy and freedom to influence, lead and inform from any position. We constantly strive to create an environment that prioritizes a range of diverse perspectives, creating the conditions where community, connection, and collaboration can thrive, and where you can come as the person you are. This is absolutely essential to the work we do and allows us to bring medicines and diagnostic solutions more quickly to the patients who are counting on us.
We understand that the often-conflicting demands of work and personal life can be a major source of stress. The key to creating work-life balance is to set expectations that are reasonable for you. For many of us, the harmony between our work and life outside of work is dynamic, with some days and weeks when we are in better harmony and other times when things are not where we want them to be.
We would encourage you to discuss your concerns with your local manager or HRBP in order to come up with a plan that helps you better balance both your work and outside-of-work life.
