Pros

Warning! This is a long read. I’ve got quite a handful of experience in the BPO industry. I humbly began as a sales agent back in 2004. Became a QA representative in 2006. Then, I was trusted with the Human Resources Administration post from 2012 to 2018 in three different companies. It was quite a journey, more so in acquiring the skillset. I was lucky and indeed privileged to get to the part of my career where I could say I was at my best and worst at the same time. Things turned differently in 2019. I was at my lowest, considering having given up significantly big shoes and starting from scratch again, so they say. I was actively looking for a home-based opportunity one day in the 3rd quarter of the year when some random company contacted me. Scheduled a web interview. I requested my internet and computer tools, and then, voila, I GOT HIRED by no less than ROCKET STATION. The work-at-home setup was never new to me. It requires a great amount of time, dedication, and, I must say, INTEGRITY. Not all aspiring job seekers are given the opportunity to have the luxury of working from home because of a number of reasons. ROCKET STATION was surprisingly a great fresh start. From the line of businesses it caters to down to stringent training. Getting acquainted and being a part of a pool of VAs called BOOTCAMP until being carefully selected by the TRANSITIONS TEAM, which is now the PLACEMENT TEAM, for client interviews based on your skill set is extremely remarkable. I never had to undergo such a tough process in my entire call center career. But, let me tell you, this is what makes Rocket Station, "US," incredibly unique. It was during the first quarter of 2020 when I was lined up for my first interview with a potential client. Like everyone else, my hopes were high, but it didn’t turn out successful, which was fine. It was on my 3rd interview when I first landed my first client. It was short-lived, though. But, that didn’t stop there. Unluckily, even we in Bootcamp were also affected by, YES, the "PANDEMIC." I was literally jobless for the next 2 months. The “TRANSITIONS” team back then, led by Mina and Doyle, was on top of its game and reviewed my profile and paired me up for my fourth client interview. I didn’t think anything had changed. I still put my best foot forward, and GOD was indeed good because a property management account found the value in me and got me a spot. (I LOVE YOU!) As for my parting words, hopefully, you can find inspiration in that no one should ever stop trying, thriving, and praying that one day, you’ll be in a position and situation that you may not choose to be in, but that you definitely should belong to. And as the famous tagline in Rocket Station goes, and I bet my salary that everyone knows, “Trust The Process." Yes, I did! And I’m certain that every single VA here and working with the company did that too, one way or another. There is nothing and no one else that I could think of to thank generously but the whole Rocket Station team for the same trust and loyalty I’ve put into the company. I am positive that this will be my last call center company that I’d love to grow old and mature with. I can now say that the company does not only equally pay (figuratively and literally) me, but, most importantly, they value my worth and dedication. I could have never redeemed myself if not for them. My name is Ronan “Kitty” Villena, Batch 29, PROUD ROCKETEER!!! #ILoveRocketStation #ProudRocketeer #RocketStation

Cons

The management is working on every situation like any other company to provide the best benefits for their remote VAs.

Pros

They have good client base for VAs

Cons

It was okay until they laid off managers and replaced it with AI. Their VAs use their own devices, low salary, no incentives. No opportunities for growth unless you're good with the upper management or you're a relative/friend.
