Stressful work for low pay with poor management - Laboratory Analyst Rogers & Callcott Employee Review

Pros

10 hours and 40 minutes of PTO earned per month, option to work alternating half Fridays (0730-1730 M-TH, 0730-1130 F), 2-15 minute breaks if you aren’t too stressed to take them

Cons

Unrealistic and unbalanced work loads for lab employees. No room for advancement and very low chance of getting any type of raise. Workload often exceeds 40 hours a week, especially during the first two weeks of the month, but the owner / management has a new, ridiculous policy of no overtime without written approval, after the owner tried to tell employees that if they worked unauthorized over time, they weren’t going to be paid (ILLEGAL). No recognition of the hard work the lab workers put in to bring the company money, while the engineers and hydro geology departments are paid so much more money and do so much less work for the company. Management is increasing inflexible and only ever gives negative feedback, while ignoring the employees that are thriving in their responsibilities. Cons

Can’t think of any at the moment.
