Pros

Work colleagues (excluding management) were always supportive and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

If you are considering applying, I would strongly advise you to steer clear. When the company operated solely as RogersGray, there was an air of camaraderie and respect among a tight-knit group of professionals working toward a common goal - to provide excellent customer service and to support each other. Training was excellent and culture felt bright. This took a sharp turn when the owners sold the company to Baldwin Risk Partners. The people I worked with on a daily basis for years were the only saving grace. There was no work-life balance. Management would turn a blind eye to colleagues working 60+ hour weeks and reprimand others unable to keep pace in addition to making inappropriate comments in the office under the guise of a humorous “don’t tell HR!” You are only a number here and the moment you start to advocate for yourself, you will be treated as lesser and gaslit into thinking you are doing something wrong when it is simply the workload being too overbearing. It felt dehumanizing. This is now a culture of sink or swim and the burnout and constant turnover are just the writing on the wall.

Thanks for the review, but we're in all sorts of places - not just the Cape! And top top it off, we do offer remote and hybrid work options as well. We have colleagues in Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, and lots of other places!

Pros

Some of the co-workers on each team are magnificent and assist each other with systems, questions and support. Sad to say that management never does that!

Cons

As numerous (to many to count) employees resign, their work load and accounts are given to you with a promise that it’s only temporary; this cycle kept repeating the entire tenure of my employment.(which was years!). My book of business kept increasing with no lift, no extra compensation or follow through on promises. The management is a revolving door (more than a half dozen in a few years! Management doesn’t help they just keep busy in meeting (seriously in meetings all the time not ever helping, just demanding) and saying the mantra “we are looking to hire” but never do! Training was great many years ago, however, all the trainers quit or were let go and it’s a complete joke now, I actually had to train my manager on some operations platforms. No transparency as management lies and covers up all the gapping holes in the business instead of fixing them and supporting you!
