Pros

Free beer....that's about it. Meal discounts. Not much else past that.

Cons

Their company culture is extremely toxic. After on-boarding they'll send you to Rogue University and tell you about how they create an inclusive and safe environment. All lies. They either ignore the anonymous HR complaint messaging board or just don't care. More likely the latter. HR is known for ignoring serious complaints and issues. Morale and organization of their Pubs is an unmitigated disaster and Brewery staff are stretched thin.

Pros

Rogue is an underdog company that likes to do things differently. They have a strong culture and being a “rogue” is a way of life. Over the years they have been going through a lot of changes. Some good and some not so good, but overall it’s a good company to work for. I really enjoyed my time there. They didn’t expect me to know everything right out of the gate, and allowed me to improve my skills while working there. Continuing education via college or classes was paid for if interested in that. It was a job that I think of often and miss working there.

Cons

Always being on call for after hour emergencies. Although for a maintenance technician that’s pretty standard. The pay and beer perks could have been better but I feel like overall it was reasonable.

Pros

- Some great, charismatic, and passionate frontline staff work here. - Half-off beer and a small monthly pub stipend. - Opportunity to accelerate career with a nationally recognized brewery

Cons

- Blame-culture and senior leadership churn. I reported to a new director every 6-7 months for years. - Pay is, at best, average. No transparency. - Disagreeable business standards at a top-down level. - Highly disorganized executive team. - Lack of cross-departmental support. You will have to be both the good and bad cop anytime conflict arises, which is often.
