Pros
All of the money that they could use to pay employees fair wages they use instead to pay for an unnecessarily nice office space. This allocation of resources is indicative that, to management, the appearance of success is more important than rewarding their best people.
Cons
Agree with the other review that the leadership is severely lacking. Quarterly review process was a sham. I continually stated that I wasn't feeling fulfilled in my role and their response was always that I needed to be perfect in my current role for them to consider letting me do something else...because that makes sense. They touted themselves as an extremely fast-growing company with lots of room for upward mobility, but that just wasn't the case. They only gave 1 person in my department a raise in 18 months, and it was less than the increase in cost of living during that span. They went on a hiring-spree, bringing in tons of new employees, only to have to lay 1/3 of my department off 6 months later. Terrible, terrible, terrible management. A friend of mine talked to H.R. about a raise because she was struggling to make ends meet, and H.R. told her to consider moving out of town, or to "bring sandwiches for lunch every day."
