Pros

None. It was not a positive experience.

Cons

The Royal Law Firm is an extremely toxic place to work. They treat their associates terribly- denying time off that was previously approved, making them work obscene hours, no reimbursement for travel. They claim to want to empower women, but that is all a lie. They will try to gas light you into believing all new associates at other law firms are treated this way. Not true! The boss only cares about herself.

Pros

Supportive Leadership: The partners and senior attorneys lead by example and are approachable, respectful, and genuinely invested in employee development. • Professional Work Environment: Royal Law maintains high standards of professionalism across all levels, creating a respectful and collaborative workplace culture. • Employee-Centric Culture: Staff are treated as valued contributors, not just employees. Management listens to feedback and prioritizes employee well-being. • Mentorship and Growth Opportunities: Junior attorneys and support staff are offered meaningful mentorship and clear pathways for advancement. • Work-Life Balance: Compared to many firms, Royal Law is mindful of work-life balance, with reasonable expectations and flexibility when needed. • Team-Oriented Atmosphere: There is a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual respect among colleagues, which fosters teamwork and productivity.

Pros

-Room for growth internally for support staff. -Patience from management regarding mistakes. -Management is supportive of staff looking for more responsibilities and trying new things like attending hearings.

Cons

-It is a small firm so if there is an issue it's all hands on deck which can be stressful. In my experience that is a normal part of small business though.
