Pros

Their insurance package is decent. There are also some great people to work with.

Cons

The company only cares about the numbers, not the people. That attitude gets passed onto employees which makes for a terrible workplace. You become a number to create a product. Safety? What safety? You do the same thing all day and they have you stretch for 1 minute at the beginning of the day. The pay is decent, but not for the work you're having to do and the long term damage you will put on your body. If you work hard here you WILL get taken advantage of. You will NOT get appreciated by the people in charge. Your coworkers will appreciate your hard work but that is it. We work 'every other weekend.' Which means we work 2-3 weeks straight minus 1 day off each week, usually Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. From what I've heard (source is reliable. He has been employed at this location for 8 years.) they have been working 30+ weekends a year every year. However, the overtime is kept to a minimum of approximately 3 hours a week for most employees. If you work your day off, which is in the middle of the week for almost everyone, you have a better chance at overtime if that is something you want but you put yourself in a position to work 12-19 days straight. Otherwise you will feel as if you work non stop yet get paid as if you work 5 days a week. Oh wait, you do only work 5 days a week! Unless it's 6. Or 7. It is short staffed in almost every department. They claim it's because people keep calling in. I call shenanigans. The HR department is less than satisfactory.

Pros

Company and upper management are open and easy to speak too. Especially when others not around. In my time there; excellent work/life balance for other departments and employees but not mine. For example: sure a great perk was having the day after Thanksgiving (Friday) off to be with family. Yet that was a work day for me. Yet the next business day, you get to hear all the great conversations on how relaxing it was to be with your family, 4 day weekend etc.......

Cons

Not resigning sooner than I did. Once that part was done then all the great things I did while there and hard work ( 8 days a week) I was pulling became thank you. A lot of favoritism is there and the sad part is the pro's are also the cons. No matter how much you do or give of yourself...it is never enough. You will lose confidence and believe when you work 10 hours each day, rather than thank you, it is why didn't you work 10.5 hours ? Meaning never enough.
