The company only cares about the numbers, not the people. That attitude gets passed onto employees which makes for a terrible workplace. You become a number to create a product.
Safety? What safety? You do the same thing all day and they have you stretch for 1 minute at the beginning of the day.
The pay is decent, but not for the work you're having to do and the long term damage you will put on your body.
If you work hard here you WILL get taken advantage of. You will NOT get appreciated by the people in charge. Your coworkers will appreciate your hard work but that is it.
We work 'every other weekend.' Which means we work 2-3 weeks straight minus 1 day off each week, usually Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. From what I've heard (source is reliable. He has been employed at this location for 8 years.) they have been working 30+ weekends a year every year. However, the overtime is kept to a minimum of approximately 3 hours a week for most employees.
If you work your day off, which is in the middle of the week for almost everyone, you have a better chance at overtime if that is something you want but you put yourself in a position to work 12-19 days straight. Otherwise you will feel as if you work non stop yet get paid as if you work 5 days a week. Oh wait, you do only work 5 days a week! Unless it's 6. Or 7.
It is short staffed in almost every department. They claim it's because people keep calling in. I call shenanigans.
The HR department is less than satisfactory.
