Pros
-The position was 100% remote (as all recruiting positions should be). -The team structure was solid. Everyone was always very helpful and ready to answer any questions that came up. -Great leadership from senior recruiters and managers on the team. -Great autonomy (for the most-part)
Cons
-At times, the department that I worked in felt coddled by senior management. Granted, the team had a wide variety of experience, but there was hardly a week that would go by without a multiple page email, being sent from higher up, detailing how to complete the most common-sense tasks. It felt like there was no trust in us being able to do our jobs effectively. -Quite a few pointless meetings that were spent droning over the same 5-10 issues that might arise when recruiting candidates. -Pay was no where near compensable for the workload asked of recruiters (particularly in the driver-recruiting department, where it's high-volume / churn and burn recruiting).
