Pros

Young employees. Everyone employee gets a long with one another especially with the students doing their internship. Working in a place like Barcelona is once in a life time opportunity.

Cons

Bad training. They don't care about you and your personal growth. They just want you to do the work and go. Inexperienced managers who only care about themselves and not improving the employees. Managers are NOT GOOD MANAGERS Cheat you on your salary. The company is not moving forward. 9-6 everyday 5 days a week, but they expect you to do more and even finish at 8/9 some days for unrealistic amount of money. Increased pressure of work with not enough staff. Lie on glass door by writing fake things about the company The company employs majority of students to work for them because its cheap labour and easy to get rid of them when they don't need them anymore. The company is a FAIL

Thank you for your comments. -We regret you have decided to comment about the company through this platform and not having told us in person that way we could have made your experience with us better, as unfortunately we cannot read minds. -Our employees are our most valuable asset. Therefore, their well-being is our priority. We regularly gather their feedback on different topics and we act on them. For example, we recently bought a freezer for the office, a volleyball and net to encourage after work activities, as well as adapting bonus schemes to better reward performance. -Furthermore, we always remunerate our employees according to contractual agreements and no one has ever raised issues on this topic. In case of any issues related to payments the best way to solve it is to directly let us know. -We allocate resources based on workload and we never require, ask or encourage staying overtime. As it is not standard to pay by hour in this industry everyone is paid the salary agreed by contract. If someone stays overtime it could be due to their poor time-management skills. -Moreover, our aim is to provide interns with a professional experience to those willing to genuinely contribute and grow. Those who leave, go back to complete or continue with their studies. However, for those with the potential and if there is a vacancy available, we provide them with this career opportunity. -Finally, this is an unverified open platform and we have no control over what is written, by who or when. Therefore, any review can qualify as false. No one can verify this.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you have an overall positive outlook on S2M-group! We are glad you described us as offering a challenging business opportunity within a friendly work environment. This is one of our aims, to continuously learn while we share and apply knowledge with our peers. As for overtime, we never encourage or require working extra hours. For some cases however, we have come to a mutual agreement for any extra time done. Workload varies over time. Some periods are busier than others. We aim to have fair compensation according to the responsibilities of each role. Regarding feedback, we have regular performance reviews. These has evolved over time and have been adapted to internal changes. This topic is one of our challenges today and we are working on conquering it.

Pros

The idea seemed very cool. I was able to open the Miami office alongside another colleague. Great work environment and office space.

Cons

We had communication for a couple of hours per day with management. We had no clear vision or tasks to follow. They seemed a little disorganized which is understandable when opening a new location with no one from upper management to do so. Also, they stated training would be provided, but were just given tasks to do with no real guidance. They pay was extremely low, even for an "intern".

Thank you for your review of S2M. As you mentioned, our office in Miami had just been opened when you joined, because of this, we agree there are things that we could have done better. However, as we aim to hire great, smart people, we make sure we have senior management in all our locations, including Miami. Since we opened this office, we have made changes to our communication and onboarding process to better equip our new starters with their challenges ahead. This included additional training in our Headquarters in Barcelona. We are glad you liked the work environment, we agree it is a comfortable and productive space for our team to work.
