      Pros

      Well established multi national company. Strong brand in the realm of analytical products. Was #1 place to work up until 5 years ago. Emphasis on work life balance.

      Cons

      Very slow to change, rapidly loosing leadership in industry and playing catch up. Lowest salaries compared to equivalent industry standards. Secretive hierarchical management, high turn over and unhappy customers contributing to diminishing sales.

      Pros

      Beautiful campus, benefits are amazing.

      Cons

      Too many “lifers” at SAS, lost touch with best practices. Promotions based on personal relationships versus truly being the best person for the job. HR seems to protect itself and has grown its kingdom. Out of touch management. IPO seems extremely unlikely.
