Pros
Great company with good benefits- Pharmacy, Health Care, the list goes on. Dr. Goodnight does seem to still have the mindset of "if you take care of your people, they will take care of customers"
Cons
Lots of changes. Unattainable goals (not long ago we didn't have quotas). This impacts bonuses, adds pressure and stress to the staff, employees feel like they are not heard and that leadership does not understand the market. Lots of pressure to hit goals that are not attainable. Comp plans clash internally making it difficult to all work in harmony. There is constantly changes in executive leadership, which changes processes and strategies for the employees. It is unclear how executives expect sales to produce unrealistic goals without additional support. There have been layoffs in the last year or so- which SAS has historically never done. There has been deadlines on when we will go public, but the date keeps being extended. Employees have no idea if they will receive stock options or gifted shares. Employees have no insight into the future of the company because we are constantly told we are "about to" go public. Who knows what will happen.... I can say, employees don't know. Sadly, it is not the company it was even just three years ago.
