Pros

holiday shut down, company store, company history, competitive salary, summer hours, maternity leave. They do strive to do the right thing for their consumers. There are lots of Pros but sadly they don't make up for the severity of the cons.

Cons

This was a great company to work for but not anymore. And sadly, with every passing year it keeps going further and further downhill. Leadership - Just horrible, I don't even know where to start. They keep asking for employees to take surveys and promise they will address the issues, but they don't, and they won't. You will be over worked, under-appreciated, not valued for your experience or expertise and if you raise any concerns, you will be swiftly told to be quiet. They are blaming the mass exodus on the great resignation, but the reality is there are real issues here that no one will address, you will see the same themes over and over again in these reviews. They know the problems and they know it's causing TONS of people to leave but they can't or won't fix them. And now they just blame it on the times but the reality is so many people really didn't want to leave but they felt they were left with no choice due to the poor leadership and poor policies... Oh, and better conditions and opportunities elsewhere. Rating system here is the worst I've ever seen. I've been on bell curve rating systems before but honestly theirs is next level. You will likely walk away from reviews feeling defeated and completely unmotivated. The system is entirely political and hierarchical, and they know this, yet they base everything on your score while telling you don't worry about your score. It makes no sense. Work from home policy is just stupid. It completely discourages being a part of the Racine community and is a big part of the larger community problem (since the policy is you need to live 20 miles minimum away from the office to qualify for 1 lousy day). Not to mention it is completely hypocritical and flies in the face of being about work life balance since you have to trade off on 1 WFH day for 2-hour commute 4 days a week. If you live/work in WI they will want, you to work in Chicago and if you live/work in Chicago they will want you to work in WI. It's a 4-hour commute for many that they have to do 4 days a week (see above for stupid WFH policy). You will get asked to do this and saying no is not looked at favorably and significantly reduces your future opportunities for growth and advancement. Covid response was and continues to be the worst of any company I've heard about. They don't care about you, your health or your family. The propaganda around 'working better together' is just gross. You will come in and take 95% of your meetings from your cube on teams but that doesn't matter you better be in the office every day / all day, they are auditing when you are in the office. I'd be leery if they tell you they are being flexible with people, while a few managers are trying to be, I think they are getting a lot of mixed messages and so most are just toeing the line. If you do get a manager that truly is willing to be flexible, they will likely move on soon as most people don't stay in roles for more that 18-24 months. And beyond Covid any flexibility that you may have been given will be gone. Diversity - little to none. Work life balance/flexibility - little to none (you will be on calls with Europe and 7AM and with Asia until 10 PM, but still expected to be at your desk by 8:00 the next morning). Covid response - poor. Leadership - non-existent (this is the 'we'll fix it with a pizza party' mentality sort of leadership). Change - constant, and not in a good way, it's just constant churn that creates work with no results. Office space - Downtown campus just had a renovation that gives more and better workspace yet very few get to work at the downtown campus. Most are crowded into office spaces in Sturtevant that are loud and dingy. These offices are not that well-kept or very nice. Also, for anyone with a disability beware, while I'm sure the offices are compliant, they aren't exactly ideal. To sum it up, there are other places that have more to offer that treat their people better.

Pros

Great brands, company, vision and leadership. This place is special and unlike so many other CPG companies.

Cons

Super competitive industry can create longer than usual hours.

Pros

You will not be bothered by people talking to you, benefits seem okay.

Cons

Don’t expect to be trained on anything. Management will expect you to figure things out on your own, request your own accesses and figure out what you need without any guidance. They’ll send people to you for questions on how to do stuff within your first couple days, not having taught you how to do those things.
